Record Breaking Trout in Bear Lake
Bear Lake fisher catches reacord breaking trout. With a whopping 23 lb weight, this fish jumped to the top of Idaho's biggest trout list.
Jerry Sanders caught the fish Saturday at 10 am, just two hours into his fishing trip. He said it was twice the size of any trout he has caught before. Mr. Sanders donated the fish to his local Bishop's Store House. What a great guy!
The massive fish was caught in the center of Bear Lake, just inside the Idaho state border. Many other fishers reported catching abnormally large fish that day. Maybe there's something in the water? Either way, if you enjoy fishing, get down to Bear Lake before this luck runs out.
